Carissa Weiss advises clients on trademark clearance, registration, licensing, policing, enforcement, and opposition matters. She also counsels clients on copyright registration and enforcement issues in various jurisdictions and drafts copyright- and trademark-related agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, licenses, assignments, and coexistence agreements.
Prior to opening her solo practice, Carissa was an associate at the leading intellectual property boutique law firm Fross Zelnick Lehrman & Zissu, P.C. Carissa began her legal career as an associate in the transactional intellectual property group of the prominent international law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
Outside of her law practice, Carissa enjoys music, film, arts, and the great outdoors. She lives in Armonk, NY with her husband and two young children.
